The Norfolk Motorhome Show

Location: Norfolk Showground, Norwich

Dates: 19th-21st July

Price: Advance tickets are £4.00 per adult and £6.00 on the day, children (16 and under) visit for free

Opening time(s): 9:30 am

 

As one of the more fun motorhome events in the UK, the Norfolk Motorhome Show also offers excellent value for money. Taking place in the middle of summer and situated close to the coast, the event is a draw for a lot of mid-season buyers looking to switch up their current recreational vehicle and who are looking to kit out with additional camping accessories.

As the only show along the East coast that boasts well-maintained camping grounds in a beautiful holiday area, it’s a great spot if you’re after a bit of a staycation while you browse through 200 new and older models from over 20 national and more local dealers. With over 130 exhibitors including Marquis, Cleveland Motorhomes and E-ranger, daytime bingo as well as live music the show offers plenty to do alongside the backdrop of Norfolk’s scenic coastline.

Not to mention the four nights of fantastic live entertainment available to those camping on site. The line up includes ‘The Amazing Blues Brothers’, ‘Wham! Duran’ among other acts. If you don’t own a mobile home (yet) there are also luxury bell tents available to rent that come with airbeds, linens and ‘shabby chic’ decor that will make it a really memorable experience.

 

Bristol Motorhome and Caravan Show

Location: Ashton Court Estate, Bristol

Dates: 8th-11th August

Price: Free apart from onsite parking

Opening time(s): 12:00 pm

 

Taking place around the same time as the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, this four-day show is a boon for the more serious camper, those just  becoming acquainted with motor-homing as well as the 500,000 balloon festival visitors.

As one of Europe’s largest meet-ups of hot air balloons, this year’s Balloon Fiesta is set to bring in over 130 hot air balloons from around the world to the skies of Bristol. With a plethora of food stalls, fairground rides and entertainment to match, it’s an idyllic event that’s sure to amaze and inspire.

And perhaps even get you dreaming about that campervan life? If your appetite’s been whet then you’ll be in good company with hundreds of motorhomes and caravans to browse as well as all the camping essentials to get you up and running. With exhibitors like Camping & Caravaning Club, Crossings Motorhome Tours and Boon Dock Trailers, you’ll also be surrounded by a wealth of experts who can help you out.

 

The Western Motorhome Show

Location: Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire

Dates: 16th-18th August

Price: Advanced day tickets are £6.00 presenting a saving of over 25% on door prices, parking and showguide are free on the day

Opening time(s): 9:30 am

 

As one of Britain’s largest annual country and western fairs, the Western Motorhome Show currently attracts over 3,200 recreational vehicles and tents over its weekend. Day visitors and campers are treated to live performances, historic re-enactment in the Lonestar Old West Re-enactment area, and a food court with live entertainment scheduled for every day.

You’ll be able to view over 550 new and old models provided by over 50 local and nationwide dealers. Not to mention the over 250 exhibitors offering a gigantic selection of accessories, lifestyle add-ons and more. Multiple venues will host live acts every night, including ‘The Dixie Divas’, ‘Steve Cherelle as John Denver’ and the ‘Swing Commanders’.

Additionally, you can book a class to learn line dancing or take part in the best-dressed westerner competition. With gorgeous scenery extending around the showground, Malvern makes a great weekend break destination. You could tour the idyllic town or even hop on over to the city of Worcester to continue your western adventure.

 

The South West Motorhome Show

Location: Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet

Dates: 6th-8th September

Price: Advanced day tickets are £5.00 which offers a saving of over 25% on door prices, parking and showguide are free on the day

Opening time(s): 9:30 am

 

If you’re a southern-based hobbyist, this one will be your cup of tea. With a huge range of models available from the UK’s most popular dealers such as Ventura, as well as some big-name retailers from the south like Buy A Camper, Alan Kerr and Highbridge Caravan Centre, there’s much to explore at this show.

That includes hundreds of old and new motorhomes as well as a display of campervans and Fifth Wheels. The weekend entertainment is a must for rock lovers and will include tributes to Dire Straights and Bruce Springsteen on Saturday night.

The show is perfectly placed for visitors and campers to explore the surrounding area of Bath and Wells, which are 20 miles and 8 miles away respectively.  Shuttle bus tours to Bath city centre are available on Friday for those keen to shop, relax and unwind in a pub garden  or cafe. Similar will be provided for Wells Market Place.

 

The Caravan Extravaganza

Location: The Lawns, Cottingham, East Yorkshire

Dates: 3rd-8th September

Price: Between £2.50 and £6.00

Opening time(s): 9:00 am

 

The Caravan Extravaganza is a fun-filled day out for the whole family. You’ll get the chance to catch a glimpse of this season’s new models and browse the extensive accessory shop.

There’s also a funfair to keep children occupied while mum and dad search for their next motorhome. You’ll be at the centre of 40 acres of beautiful landscaped park at the heart of the University of Hull. Here you’ll get to see more than 130 touring caravans and 150 RV holiday-homes, park homes and lodges from major British manufacturers.

 

The Motorhome Show Season Finale

Location: Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln

Dates: 20th-22nd September

Price: Advanced day tickets are £6.00 per adult while children (16 and under) are free and £8.00 for daytime visitors. Campers pay between £45.00-£48.00 pre-booked or £55.00-£58.00 on the day

Opening time(s): 9:30 am

 

Held in the charming and history-rich town of Lincoln, the Motorhome Show Season Finale has garnered cult status as the show to close the outdoor season. It’s a chance to reunite with old travel buddies pre-winter as well as pick up some bargains on remaining 2019 stock as dealers are eager to sell up before the New Year.

Over 200 exhibitors should be present with over 5,000 visitors flocking in on a daily basis. Over 40 dealers will be present showcasing over 425 RV models, both new and used. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy any final savings for the season and stock up on any camping essentials before winter sets in.

There will also be plenty of activities during event days including a Shadows tribute by Josh Doyle and a musicals act from Kelly Louise. Aviator enthusiast can marvel at the static Spitfire display in the main food court and look up to the skies for a flypast of the Battle of Britain flight team.  

 

South Coast Caravan and Motorhome Show

Location: Broadlands Estate, Romsey

Dates: 27th-29th October

Price: Price of admission is £7.50 for adults and £6.50 for seniors

Opening time(s): 10:00 am

 

This a draw for plenty of dealers from the south who will be there with all their current designs and layouts. Displays will include the latest models from Elddis, Bailey Wildax, Rimor and many more.

Additionally, South Coast Camper Conversions, Buy a Camper, Mal V-m and Brakes will be in attendance with the latest in campervan conversions.

And if you're after accessories, you won’t need to look any further as they’ll be retailers there showcasing everything from awnings to electric bikes.

 

The Malvern Caravan Show

Location: The Three Counties Showground, Malvern

Dates: 4th-6th October

Price:  Hookup pitches are £37.00-£67.00 depending on if you buy in advance or on the day while tickets for daytime visitors are £5.00 or free for children (under 16).

Opening time(s): 9:30 am

 

Revamped in 2015 by Warners in partnership with the Three Counties Showground, this long-established show is a great one for ending your outdoor show season.

In 2018, it drew in over 1,600 campers and 4,000 daytime visitors. With an eclectic range of both motorhomes, caravans and accessories on offer as well as over 90 onsite exhibitors including Cotswold Motorhomes, Golden Castle Caravans and Broadland Leisure, you’ll have plenty to explore.

And there’s sure to be something for everyone with bingo, charity coffee mornings and even a dog show on Sunday. There’ll also be a number of live acts to entertain you, including comedy by Tank Sherman, party band Jump, the talented Hayley-Ria Christian with her Whitney Houston tribute and the Ragdolls. The local area boasts Barnards Green and Great Malvern when you need a break.

 

Motorhome and Caravan Show - NEC Birmingham

Location: NEC Birmingham

Dates: 15th-20th October

Price: Advanced day tickets are £9.50 for adults and £8.50 for seniors and £13.00 for adults and £12.00 for seniors on the day. Children (under 15) go free.

Opening time(s): 10:00 am

 

It’s the biggest launch event in the RV space and will be returning mid-October to see the upcoming year off to a great start with all the leading UK and European manufacturers under one roof.
