Campervan life can feel very real when you’re struggling to keep warm in the middle of the night, during the cold, dark depths of winter. It can make you want to turn the ignition and head for some place warmer, like a hotel… or home.

It’s that time of year when summer starts slipping away just as quickly as it arrived. That means it’s time to start preparing for the colder months ahead. Winter is a time for getting cosy, practising self-care and generally looking after ourselves, so we can be in our best shape for the following summer. And the same applies to our motorhomes, campervans and house trailers.

There’s a growing number of people in the UK who enjoy nothing more than taking off in their motorhomes at a moment’s notice. You just can’t beat that feeling of grabbing the ignition keys, hopping on board and seeing where the road takes you – even if you’re not sure where you’ll be stopping that night!

There are many different ways to ‘do’ a festival nowadays, from basic camping to pre-erected tents to full-on glamping, complete with hairdryers and hot showers! But if you want a traditional festival experience with a few mod cons thrown in, doing it in your own campervan is definitely the way to go.
