While you’re packing for your trip, remember that Devon has 8,000 miles of roads – the longest network in the UK – so you’ll want to get good campervan insurance in place before you set off.

Once you’ve compared quotes at Motorhome Protect, and found the right cover for you, you’re ready to get going. But where you should stop along the way? Here’s our roundup of five of the most captivating campsites the county has to offer. Which one will you choose?

And if you’ve never tried standup paddle boarding, now’s your chance, with hire prices starting from £25 for half a day including the wetsuit.

If you prefer staying on dry land, there are plenty of walking and cycling routes to explore. With a number of electrical hook-ups on site, this is the ideal place to bring your classic VW camper.
